Physio-led, online exercise classes for the golden ages
At Lime Tree Village in Rugby, we have had the pleasure of regularly welcoming Liz Coulthread (Rugby Physio) to lead exercise classes to help keep residents fit and healthy since 2010. Liz was keen for residents to still have a way to take part in her classes whilst still staying at home, so she has created some fabulous videos for anyone and everyone to watch and follow. There seems to be a resurgence in the ‘Make Do and Mend’ attitude, whether that is to make the most of resources to reduce how often we pop to the shops, to help us nurture a new hobby or perhaps to take care of the environment. Whatever the reason, we think it means people are developing new skills, which may have been forgotten by the younger generation.

Music can be transformative, and podcasts can help us to feel connected. That’s why we have created a new Spotify profile, where we have been collating great podcast episodes and uplifting songs.
